It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of JOZSEF DEBRECENI of Brossard, Quebec. He entered into eternal rest at the age of 89 on September 17, 2022.
Jozsef was born in Hungary (Csepel) on November 8, 1932. He came to Montreal, Quebec in 1956 and shortly thereafter began his career in the tool and die making industry. Within a few years, he established and incorporated Moldex Plastics and Tool, Inc.; a company known for its superb custom injection molding capabilities in Canada and the United states. Moldex Plastics and Tool. Inc. continues today under the leadership of his daughter, Sylvia.
Aside from Jozsef's career, he enjoyed and was very passionate about fishing and hunting. He's had many prepared and mounted animal trophies in his home and office from trips across the continent as well as a safari adventure he engaged in when in Africa.
Jozsef was preceded in death by is Mother, Juliana Debreceni, and by his wife, Margaret Debreceni (Cseh). He will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, Sylvia Debreceni and Kathleen Debreceni-Veer (Douglas Veer), and his step children, George and Margaret Ziman, and his grandchildren, Leslie Suryani Jr., Erica Suryanyi, Shaun and Sasha Ziman, and his extended family in Hungary: the Sinko-Kali family.
Visitations will take place Thursday, September 29 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. there will be light food and refreshments served between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, at 10:00 am
