SMITH, Mrs. Jean I. (nee Lonsdale) Peacefully surrounded by family, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Reston E. Smith and darling son David. Also predeceased by a brother Norval (Marge). Survived by her brother Willis (Bunny). Sorely missed by Murray (Chris), Jennifer (Arthur), Jon (Mary-Lou), Heather (Marik) and Barbara (Steven). Lovingly missed by 8 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nephews, nieces and numerous friends. Thank you to the Doctors and staff at the Buckingham hospital and the Villa des Aine(es), also a special thank you to Nancy Hogan and Maurice Menard for all the good care provided to our mother. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. in St-Stephen's Church. Visiting hours at the Brunet Funeral Home, 115 Maclaren Est, Gatineau Qc J8L 1J9 on Monday, January 14, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For those who wish donation to the Buckingham hospital will be appreciated. (Forms will be available at the Funeral Home and the church).
