It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Young of Waterloo, at the age of 80, on July 17th, 2022, at the Granby hospital. She is predeceased by her spouse Pierre Chagnon and her children, Johanne and Jim.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Claude, Sylvie, Yvan, Nancy, Brian and Jeremy; her sister Carol (Howard Boyce); her sister-in-law Lois Young; as well as many grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Granby hospital for their compassionate care.
Cremation took place in Granby, at the crematorium Les Jardins Funéraires Bessette.
Funeral direction entrusted to Les Résidences Funéraires Bessette in Waterloo (5034 Rue Foster, Waterloo, QC J0E 2N0). Services will be held at Waterloo English cemetery at a later date.
