HODGKINSON, James
1928 - 2013Roxboro
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of James Hodgkinson on September 16 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife Louise along with his children Anne (Charles Belle Isle), John (Lorraine Watkins), Marie (Giovanni Caci) and his grandsons Alexandre and Francis.
Ironically, Dad took flight on the same day as the Bombardier CSeries made it’s maiden flight! Dad’s career at Canadair (Bombardier) spanned 39 years. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the Doctors’ and staff of 4NW at the Jewish General Hospital for their outstanding and wonderful care over the last 3 months.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4275 Boul. Des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2A6. As per the family’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held afterwards. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his honour can be made to the Jewish General Hospital. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to [email protected].
