BUTLER DOHERTY, Iris

Peacefully in hospital, on Friday, April 4th, 2008, Iris Butler (Doherty) passed away, in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Gerald Butler and daughter of the late Mae Doherty (Gleason) and of the late Vincent Doherty. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Elaine (Denis Damphousse), son Lyall (Sandra Archer), son Wayne (Cindy Burke) and she is predeceased by her son Richard. Cherished grandmother of James, Jody (Glenn Whipple), Kevin, Tiffany and Jake. Great-grandmother of Kaylee and Macy. Predeceased by her sisters Doris Lemieux, Naureen Graham and her brother Joseph (Joe) Doherty. Iris, with her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour, will be truly missed by her many friends and relatives.

The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Gatineau (Buckingham sector) from 10 a.m. to receive condolences, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Buckingham Hospital Fund, 500 Belanger St., Gatineau, Que, J8L 2M4. Envelopes will be available in the church. For those who wish to send flowers please deliver by 4 p.m. Monday, April 7th, 2008, to the Funeral Home.
