Passed away peacefully in Montreal at Sacré-Coeur Hospital on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 87. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 62 years Nicola Alfieri, her son Alberto, daughter-in-law Rose Ann, her adored grandchildren Amanda and Nicholas. She will also be missed and fondly remembered by her sister Concetta, other family members, neighbors and friends. The family will receive condolences at Magnus Poirier funeral complex 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame de la Defense Church 6800 Henri Julien thence, burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
