Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in her 82nd year, surrounded by family members. Wife of the late Marinus C. Ekdom.

Predeceased by her brother Patrick Kelly and survived by brothers Dennis and Michael Kelly and sister Joan Kaye.

Survived by all her children: Maureen (Roberto), Margaret (Karl), John (Johanne), Mark, Malcom, Janet (François), Joan (Jean), James (Johanne), Michael and Jessica;

her grandchildren: Crystal (Yuri), Riccardo (Caroline), Fabienne (Roly), Juliana (Vince), Marco, Melissa (Michael), Karla, Enrika, Jan, Karianne, Melanie (Jimmy), Stephan, Meagan (Arnaud), Jeffrey (Olivia), Kalayla, Arianna, Derek, Samantha, Matthew;

her great grandchildren: Daniela, Gabriela, Tristan, Gabriel, Penelope, Mia.

In accordance with our mother’s wishes, there was no visitation but an intimate gathering for the immediate family.

Special thanks to Dr Richard Gosselin for his compassionate care and the assistance of the home care workers at the CLSC: Patrice Morin and Marie-Hélène Duhamel that enabled us to keep our mother at home also to Hugo St-Onge of the Le Sieur Funeral Home.
