MATTHEWS (NEE KOVACS), Helen (Ilona)

Passed away in Laval on June 7, 2014 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Matthews. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Helen Kovacs, her brother Leslie and sisters Margaret and Mary Lou. She leaves behind her sister Alice (Elmer Mark) and nieces Patricia Saunders (Bryan Walker), Donna (William Bennett) and Susan Mark and her nephew Brian Mark (Sylvia). She is also survived by her step-children Linda and Lance. She will be missed by her friends from Northlea United Church as well as her club at the St. Simon`s & St. Bartholomew`s Anglican Church and her neighbours. Burial will take place at Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4275 boulevard des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, H9B 2A6, 514-685-3344 on Wednesday, June 25 at 1 p.m.
