Passed away unexpectedly at his residence, with his wife by his side, on January 26, 2014 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Christa. Loving father of Monika (the late Avi Shnaidman) and Thomas. Cherished grandfather of Arielle, Michelle and Jacob. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Ursula (Hartmut Scheffler), as well as other relatives and his friends Alain and Lynne.
