1925-2006
Harold Ishii passed away suddenly on September 28, 2006, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife Noriko, daughters Lori and Maiko, grandchildren Brianna and Stephanie, sister Penny Sakauye (Toshio), sister-in-law Fay Ishii, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Kanetaro Ishii and Ito Togashi; his step father Ushikichi Mizobuchi; his siblings Koichi (the late Yaeko), Fumiko (the late Takeo), Kohachiro (the late Chiyoko), Masao (the late Bessie), Toshio, and Jim; and his first wife Lillian. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 5, 2006, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 7 p.m. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont H2V 2P9, (514) 279-6540. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation or the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal.
