Monday, May 6th, 2013, Giovanni Monaco died peacefully at Sacré-Coeur Hospital surrounded by his family.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 60 years, Addolorata, his daughter Emma (Michael), his two granddaughters Sabrina (Sebastian) and Stephanie (Danny), his brother Alberto (Gina) and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Foundation Hopital Sacré- Coeur, in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
The family will receive condolences at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, May 8th, 2013 from 2 to 5pm and from 7 to 10pm and also Thursday at 9am. The funeral service will be held at the church Notre-Dame-du Mont-Carmel, Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at 12pm and thence to Laval Cemetery.
