MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with profound sadness that the Giancaspro family announces the passing of Giovanni (Gianni) Giancaspro, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Maria Mancuso for 58 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Michele (Carmela), Enzo (Chantal), Anna (Vincent), Rosa (Gino ), Giovanna (Mike), Pino (Maria), Cathy (Joe) and Nadia (Rui). Cherished grandfather to Tanya (Daniel), Renato Jr, Matthew (Paola), Michael, Marco (Vanessa), Gianni (Vanessa), David (Sabrina), Johnny, Evan and Teresa. Great grandfather to little Matteo. His precious companion (dog) Bella. He will be sadly missed but happily remembered as a hard working, well loved and joyful man. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Monday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to The Montreal Children or St-Justin Hospital for his enormous love of children.
