Peacefully passed away at the Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010, surrounded by his spouse and his children, at the age of 63. Dr. Deslauriers was a radiologist at the Hull Hospital for the last 32 years. Predeceased by his father, Edouard Deslauriers, his son, Bernard, sister, Francine, brother-in-law, Daniel Saint-Jean. Beloved husband of Jocelyne Saint-Jean. Loving father of Alexandre (Anik Isabelle), Isabelle (Noam Kordi) and dear grandfather of Leïla. Dear son of Louise Marchand Deslauriers, dear brother of Jean (Chantal Beauchamp), Francois (Joanne Presseault), André, Claire (Dave Schofield). He will also be missed by brothers-in-law: Pierre Gravel(Louise Pageau), father Normand Saint-Jean, Jacques Saint-Jean; sisters-in-law: Michèle Saint-Jean, Madeleine Saint-Jean (Alain Bélanger)et Solange Saint-Jean, nephews and nieces. VISITATIONS: Monday, October 25th, from 4. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Tuesday, October 26th at 10 a.m., at Notre-Dame Basilica Cathedral, 385 Sussex Dr. Ottawa, On. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. DONATIONS: In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society 15 Buteau street, # 105, Gatineau, QC. J8Z 1V4 or La maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie, 170 Sherbrooke street,Gatineau, QC.
