LOHNES, Freeman
1943 - 2021Grosse-Ile
Freeman Wilfred Lohnes, age 77, of Grosse Ile, Magdalen Islands, passed on January 10, 2021, at the Hopital de l'Archipel, Cap-aux-Meules.
He was the son of the late Chesley and Jessie (Taker) Lohnes.
Freeman is survived by his friend Della Clarke, sons George, Chesley and Leo. His aunts Emily (Taker) Stordy, Gladys Taker, uncle Bernard Taker of Halifax, N.S.
Freeman also leaves behind his grandchildren, numerous cousins, the extended families Burke, Taker, Turnbull and close friends.
A celebration of his life will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Grosse-Ile. Internment will be in the Grosse Ile North Cemetery.
The funeral rituals will be held in the privacy of the family.
Please note that the physical distancing measures put in place by public health authorities must be respected : mask, hand washing and physical distancing.
