MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Francesca Pitruzzello Scalzo at the age of 82, beloved mother of the late Carmelo Scalzo. She will be sadly missed by her husband Sebasiano Scalzo, her children Salvatore (Veronique), Domenico (Antonia) and Mario (Nuccia), her cherished grandchildren Carolina (Roberto), Melissa (Johnny), Francesco (Chloe), Sebastiano, Stefano and Christina, her siblings Rosetta, Giuseppe and Salvatore and many other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church thence to The Laval Cemetery, 5505 Chemin Bas St-François.
