MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Filomeno Guerrera at the age of 90, beloved husband of the late Orsola Mancini. He will be sadly missed by his loving children Mario (Christine) and Joe (Suzanne), his cherished grandchildren Nicholas (Candace), Sonny (Melina), Adrianna (Carlo), Sabrina (Adriano) and Karl (Jimena), his great-grandchildren Michael, Alessandro, Eva, Luke, Gabriella and Valentina, his siblings Angelo, Elda and Americo and many other relatives and friends. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church thence to The Laval Cemetery, 5505 Chemin Bas St-François. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada would be appreciated.
He will be remembered as a man of great integrity and strength who worked hard all his life for the benefit of his family. Though small in stature, he had a colossal heart; though very strong, he was also very sensitive. We will never forget those eyes that sparkled with joy and sometimes welled up with tears at the sight of his loved ones. Nor will we forget his magical smile which could light up a room. Rest in the peace that you so deserve. We appreciate all you have tirelessly and selflessly done for us. We love you and you will live in our hearts forever.
