CLARKE, Elizabeth (nee Melhuish)

May 9, 1923 - February 15, 2011 Passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Wynfield Nursing Home, Oshawa in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Clarke, Mother of Rodger (June), Douglas, Deborah (Chuck Osborne), Edward, Sarah (Rodney Watt), Elizabeth, Nancy (Stephane Pare). Predeceased by her son Charles and brother William. Cherished by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Don Melhuish (Joan), and cousin to June (Don Kennedy) and Edith (Jim Gemmell). Betty will be sadly missed by her extended family and all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Winfield Nursing Home. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
