Elizabeth (Betty) ( Szilagyi) Peto, a loving wife of the late Leslie Peto, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on June 30th, 2016, at the age of 87. She is survived by her children; David, Kathleen, James and Carolyn and by her brother Stephen Szilagyi. As well as, her grandchildren; Lindsay, Courtney, Andrew, Jeffrey, Renata, Graeme, Nicole, Gavin, Cassandra and Samantha, and her 8 great-grandchildren. Betty, born in Litka, Hungary, lived the majority of her life in the east end of Montreal and loved to summer at her cottage on Lac Gagnon, Quebec.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Magnus Poirer Funeral Complex, 6825 Sherbrooke Street East, on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 3pm. The Chapel service will begin at 4pm, followed by a reception in the same facility on Sherbrooke Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
