(February 5, 1924 – December 29, 2008
Peacefully in her 85th year. Cherished daughter of the late George and Laura Ryan (nee Burke). Beloved wife of the late Douglass Bruce Jeffrey. Loving mother of Karen ( Lou Maieron), Paul and George ( Tina Marinelli). Devoted to her brothers George and Eric her sisters Patricia (late James Moran), Margery (late Larry Bergman), Theresa, Mary (Ed Herbert) and her late brothers Edmund, Harry (Jeannine Dubois) and Burke (Edith Greene). Grandmother to Sephrah, Laura, Douglass, Lauren and Daniel. Loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Fond cousin of many. Know to a large group of friends through her past involvement in golf, curling Guides and activities in her church community.
Many thanks to the dedicated staff at the Peter D. Clarke Centre for their loving care in her final days.
A religious service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2009 at 11h a.m. at Our Lady of Victory’s Church, followed by the burial at St-Andrew’s cemetery.
Visiting hours at the Brunet Funeral Home, 115 Maclaren East, Gatineau Qc., J8L 1J9, Friday January 2, 2008 from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Saturday starting at 9a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
