DONALDSON, David Alexander
1939 - 2017St-Adolphe d'Howard
Passed away peacefully at his home on August 14, 2017.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Jean Elizabeth (nee Simmons). David leaves behind his cherished twin sons, David Jr. (Andrea Holmes) and Scott (Claudia Buscemi) as well as his much loved grandson Justin. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy (Robert King). David will be fondly remembered and missed by other family members, friends and neighbors. He was a long time employee of the CNR and resident of Chateauguay before retiring to St-Adolphe D’Howard. David enjoyed his retirement playing golf with many of his friends, creating beautiful wood carvings and playing his guitar. He was also an active member of the Legion (Br. 171) in Morin Heights.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 27th from 2-4 pm, followed by a remembrance ceremony from 4-5 pm at Trudel Funeral Home, 214 rue Principale in Saint-Sauveur. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stoke Foundation.

La famille recevra les condoléances Dimanche le 27 Août 2017 de 14h à 16h au salon de la Maison funéraire Trudel, 214, rue Principale, St-Sauveur-des-monts. Une cérémonie aura lieu de 16h à 17h, au salon. Au lieu des fleurs, des dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur seraient appréciés (formulaires disponibles au salon).
