1916-2010

Departed this life peacefully on September 18, 2010. He was born in the island of Barbados , West Indies on July 15, 1916. Survivors include Clevedon Mayers, Myrna Sedacy, Anita Auguste, Dudley Mayers, Franklyn Mayers, Desmond 'Reggie' Mayers, children of his marriage to Vivian Mayers, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert, Corlee, Herman, Lillian, Dudley and Ercilla, and grandson Daryl Francis Auguste. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and close faithful friends. Visitation on Friday, September 24 from 6 to 9 pm and on Saturday, September 25 at 9 am followed by the funeral service at 10 am at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344.
