It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of their angel, Darbari Lal, in the early morning on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the age of 72. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family; his wife, children and grandchildren. Darbari Lal, beloved husband and friend to Bimla Lal, dearest father to Anju, Sonia, and Reena and son Jigar, loved and cool grandfather to Arjun, Alysha and Baby Krysh. Darbari Lal, our Papi was loved by everyone who crossed his path. He was an angel sent by God to bring warmth, love, respect and empathy toward all his friends, family and co-workers alike. He did no wrong to anyone, he served and spent his life in "seva", working hard to keep his temple (Hindu Mission), pure and clean as God's home should be. He practiced as an accountant and will be missed by his co- workers at Svedala now Metso Minerals Canada as well as Leznoff Enterprises. He was beyond a devoted father; he was a genuine spirit always putting others before him. So soft spoken and respectful, a true model human being someone we should all learn from. God even made him handsome with his dashing hazel eyes, fair skin and stylish demeanour. His friends will remember him greeting them by "Jai Ramji Ki" or "Pandit Ji" His friends will also remember him as the one to go to as he was the peacekeeper and always helped them work through their struggles. All the kids of our community loved him as he was the cool, genuinely compassionate, loving uncle. Darbari Lal passed away from a deadly disease with no cure, known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. If it's in your power to find or fund a cure please do so. He courageously fought the disease since 2009. He passed on the day of Hanumanji, so in the name of God, from his precious treasure Mrs. Bimla Lal, Daughters Anju, Sonia and Reena and son Jigar and grandchildren Arjun, Alysha and baby Krysh "Jai Hanuman Ji Ki" to all of you. We will greatly miss our Papi and love you so much and will continue to apply in life everything you have taught us. You are forever our hero and angel.
