Passed away on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012, at the age of 93. He was a Second World War veteran officer. He was employed 35 years at the National Printing Bureau. He was employed 9 years as an editor for the Law Reform Commission. Predeceased by his parents: Albini Lalonde and Angélina Martel; brothers: Edgar, Gérard, Lucien and Lionel; sisters: Cécile, Sister Germaine and Jeannette. Beloved husband of Lucille Lafrance. Loving father of Jean-Marc (Jacqueline Labelle), Jacques (Maureen Hunt), Sylvain (Louise Guénette and her family), Guy (Monique Bélec) and Benoît. Dear grandfather of Charles-André, Anne-Michèle, Jennifer (Mathieu Gagnon), Sharyn (Martin Lavoie), Matthew (Cheryl Murphy), Valérie (Christian Robert), Simon and Amélie. Dear great-grandfather of Emanuel, Eloïse, Jérémie and Cédric. Dear brother of Estelle Robinson, Gisèle (Jean-Jacques Galarneau) and Madeleine Laramée. He will also be sadly missed by two sisters-in-law: Aline Leblanc Lalonde and Jacqueline Lafrance (Julien Labelle) as well as many nephews, nieces and many friends. VISITATIONS: There will be no visitations at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, at 10 a.m. at St-Joseph cathedral, 245, St-Joseph Blvd, Gatineau, Qc. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive your condolences after the funeral service. DONATIONS: to the “Société de l’Alzheimer de l’Outaouais québécois”, 380, St-Raymond Blvd, Gatineau, Qc., J9A 1V9, would be appreciated. THANKS: The family want to thank the staff of the 4th and 6th floor of the Foyer du Bonheur for the excellent care.
