MAGNUS POIRIER INC.We are sad to announce the passing of Don on Wednesday, July 22nd at the age of 81 at the Montreal General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years Joan, father of Gary (Donnalyn), Gregory (Brenda), his grandchildren Kyle, Nicholas, Michael and Rachel. He will also be missed by relatives and friends. Our sincere gratitude goes out to Pascal and Andrea, the nurses and staff on 12 West, also all the doctors and nurses who looked after him during his different treatments. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at Magnus Poirier Funeral home, 10300 Blvd. Pie-IX (corner Fleury) from 1pm to 4pm with refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (5151 Blvd. de L'Assomption, Montreal H1T 4A9) and the Montreal General Hospital Foundation(1650 Cedar Ave E6, Montreal H3G 1A4) would be appreciated.
