PILON (LABBEE), Carol

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol on August 30, 2013. After a very brief but very courageous fight with cancer, Carol passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family. Carol was predeceased by her mother Roseann Labbee (nee Burke). She will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted son Daniel. Left to cherish her memory, along with Daniel, is her father, Robert Labbee and his wife Agnes, her sisters - Kathleen Labbee, Diane Labbee (Richard Jablonski), Suzanne Bon (Alessandro Bon), Gisele Labbee, her brother Michael Labbee, and a great many dear friends who will all remember Carol as a loving, calm, thoughtful and kind-hearted soul. The family would like to thank the staff at the Montreal General Hospital for taking care of Carol and special heartfelt thanks go out to everyone at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on Andre Brunet, who made Carol's last day with us so wonderful, caring and loving. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home at 4275 Blvd. des Sources, D.D.O., 514-685-3344, on Wednesday, September 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service.
