It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Marlene Marchuk on May 26, 2012 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence with her four children by her side. Loving mother to Karen (Marc), Lindsay (Valerie), Lori (David) and Krista (Kent). Grandmother of Connor, Erin, Shannen, Karlinda, Patrick, Philippe, Codyy and Chance. Dear sister of Gail Marchuk (Ron) and Dawn Smith (Rick). She will be sadly missed by her nephews Greg (Karen), Alex (Christine) and Dylan, her dear friends she played Bridge with, her weekend group and her many other dear friends. A service will be held on Friday June 1st at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boul. Des Sources, DDO. Visitors will be received at 1pm with a service at 2pm. The family would like to extend an invitation for food and fellowship at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
