December 25th, 1953 - August 16th 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Michael Kelly on August 16th, 2012 at Sacre-Coeur hospital in Montreal. Loving husband of Pat Houghton Kelly and devoted father of James Kelly. He will be sincerely missed by his mother-in-law, Betty Houghton, brother Gerald (Diane), sister Catherine (Gilles) as well as his niece, Joanne and nephews; Eric, Brian, and Dave. Michael will always be remembered for his commitment to The Black Watch, the military and foremost his love for his family.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 22nd from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Rideau Hall; 4239 boul. Des Sources, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec
The funeral service will be Thursday, August 23rd, 11 a.m. at St. John Fisher parish; 120 Summerhill, Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Followed by a military burial at the Field of Honor in Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to an educational trustfund for his son would be greatly appreciated.
