It is with great sadness that the family of Clinton Munkittrick announces his sudden and tragic  passing on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Thailand at the age of 26.

Clinton is survived by his mother Judy, his father Michael, his twin brother Patrick, his brother Tyler (Kelsey), his sister Kira (Eddie) and his nephew Benjamin and niece Georgia. He also leaves to mourn his grandparents Margaret and Jerry Tribble his great aunt and uncle, Denise and Richard Tribble and Aunt Peggy Munkittrick. His aunts and uncles; Linda (Brian), Petey (Ernie), Jennifer (Greg), Mary (Paul), Graham (Kim) and his late Aunt Margie.

He was loved by his many cousins and friends from all across the country. Clinton was a true gift to the world. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his huge heart and his uncanny ability to make others smile.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Steve Elkas Funeral Home, 4230 Rue Bertrand Fabi, Sherbrooke, QC J1N 1X6 (819) 565-1155, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., (beside the Galaxy Theatre). A church service will be held the next day on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., at St. George’s Anglican Church, 84 Queen St., Lennoxville, Que. Immediately following the service a gathering will be held at the Golden Lion Pub. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alexander Galt Regional High School (AGRHS) Scholarship Fund, “Clinton Munkittrick Memorial Scholarship’”, 1700 Rte. 108, Sherbrooke QC J1M 1Z9 for a hockey scholarship award in Clinton’s name.
