EASTMAN, Brian Douglas

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Brian. He died suddenly at home on July 8. Brian leaves behind Sandra Rigon, his best friend and soul mate, his brothers David (Sue) and Ralph, his extended family, Nadia (Jimmy) and grandchildren Gianna and Antonios, sister-in-law Jeannine and Mama Giovanna and lifelong friends Lindsay and Sheila Wilson. Son of Eileen (Eastman) Taylor and Douglas Eastman and step son of Bill Taylor. Brian was born in Montreal in 1953. He was a character and his curiosity knew no bounds. Brian was smart, funny, kind and compassionate, and his presence will be truly missed by his family and his friends. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344 on Thursday, July 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the Rideau Chapel on Friday July 12 at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
