On July 23, at St-Luc's Hospital, passed away Donald Kunanec, aged 69, of complications of pneumonia. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Walter Kunanec, formerly of Lachine, P.Q. He is survived by many cousins both here and Poland and the Ukraine. We would like to thank his caregivers Linda and Roger Pel and his former caregiver Diane Izzard, for their excellent care over the years. Donald will be fondly remembered for his rock and roll moves, especially his Elvis impersonation. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, P.Q., Panacheda at 8:00 pm. His funeral service will take place on Friday, July 27 at 11:00 am at Rideau. Burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Pointe-Clare. Kindly consider a donation in his memory to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation, 21 St. Clair Ave East, Suite 600, Toronto, Ont., M4T 1L9.
