Passed away on Saturday, November 13th, 2010, at the age of 59. Predeceased by his parents: Robert Bénac and Réjane Lavigne. Beloved husband of Shirley Kent, loving father of Patrick, and Luc Bénac (Chantal Deschênes) and their mother, Lorraine Simard Bénac and,Nathalie Desjardins. Dear grandfather of Tiana Bénac. Dear brother of Michel (Louise Lefebvre), Pierre (Pauline Leblanc), Yves (Carmelle Champagne). He will also be missed by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends. VISITATIONS: There will be no visitations at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Saturday, November 20th, at 11 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Church, 194 Fourth Avenue, Ottawa, ON. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive your condolences after the funeral service. DONATIONS: As an expression of sympathy, donations may be sent to The Lung Association Ontario, 2319 St-Laurent Blvd., suite 500, Ottawa, ON. K1G 4J8.
