MARIANI Antonio
1932-2013
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.
It is
with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on January 1st, 2013 at the age of 80. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Rosa D'Agostino, with whom he shared 52 wonderful years of marriage; his daughters Luisa (Tony Spano) and Pia (Roberto Fatigati) to whom he's always shown unconditional love and care; and his three grandchildren Angela, Nicholas and Robert, his pride and joy. His family has always been his world, his reason for being and the purpose behind his every action. He taught those around him how to give without expecting to receive anything in return and preached the true value of forgiveness. Always one to keep busy, he took great pride in maintaining his garden, providing his family with signature tomato sauce and traveling the world alongside them. He was a hard working, extremely generous and warmhearted man who would always strive to make others happy. Even in his final days, he made those around him smile and laugh. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by those dearest to him, whilst holding the hands of his three grandchildren, a manner in which every grandfather can only dream of. The family will receive condolences at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex 10300 Pie-IX Boulevard, Montreal North, on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Friday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church thence, burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
