MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much loved father Antonino Scalia on April 19, 2017 at age 80, beloved husband of the late Maria Martorana. He leaves to mourn his children Giuseppe (Lucy), Giovanna (Ross) and Ignazio (Maria).
He was blessed and adored by his 7 beautiful grandchildren, Anthony (Silvana), Cynthia (Mauro),
Maria (Lino), Anthony James (Geneviève), Angelis (Anita), Daniel (Ana) and Michael.
Great Grandchildren, Sebastian, Arianna and Livio.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Carmela (Piazza) who was an important part of his life, brother Vito, many family members and friends .
Over the past 15 years, he courageously battled the debilitating illness of Alzheimer’s, never complaining and always smiling. A true inspiration to us all. His beautiful and contagious smile, his love and kindness will forever be in our hearts, as we find comfort knowing he has now joined his love of 50 years, our mother Maria Martorana. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 pie IX Blvd. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Thursday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church thence Le Repos St-Francois D'Assise Cemetery.
