MAGNUS POIRIER INC.A celebration of Anna Maria Vinokuroff's life will be held on Saturday, February 13. Anna Maria passed away peacefully at Villa Marconi in Ottawa, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the age of 90. Daughter of Elizabeth Colucci (Blažević) and Leonardo Colucci, beloved wife of the late Alfred Vinokuroff. Loving mother of Philip Vinokuroff (Margaret Larmour), Jimmy Vinokuroff (Linda Dicaire) and Cathy Vinokuroff (Rodney Tayler). Predeceased by her daughters Verna Robinson (Rickey) and Donna Balfour (Don). Loving grandmother of Colleen Robinson, Christina Vinokuroff (Mark Keramarios), Michael Robinson, Jessica Balfour (Mark Garcia), Theresa Vinokuroff (Jacin Lapointe), Alexander Vinokuroff, Diana Balfour (Francis Lavigne), Erik Vinokuroff, Steven Tayler, Samantha Tayler. Loving Great-Grandmother of Anthony Keramarios, Jakob Lapointe, Ella Garcia, Nicole Keramarios, Trystan Lapointe and Jamie Garcia.
She was known to many as Auntie Annie, inseparable from her husband, known as Uncle Alfie. She lived life to the fullest and touched so many with her love and kindness. She was active in many churches, sometimes a force in those churches, from the Italian United to the Emmanuel Pentecostal. She was a spiritual and spirited woman.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Villa Marconi, in Ottawa, for their compassionate care and affection over the past six and a half years, with a special thanks to Camille and Madeline.
The celebration of Anna Maria's 90 years will be held at the Magnus Poirier Funeral Parlour at 10300 Pie-IX blvd, Montreal North. Viewing will occur in the Parlour from 9am to Noon, A Pentecostal service will occur in the Chapel from noon to about 12:30. Burial will occur at a later date.
