MAGNUS POIRIER INC.Today, our Parish of St Nicholas lost a true servant of God, Sub-Deacon Alex Zarbatany. He served the Altar for 60 years of which the last 10 were as Sub-Deacon. He loved his church, he loved serving the Holy Altar and training the younger Altar servers. The church has just reopened its doors after the pandemic, in time to receive him. His presence in the church will be greatly missed. Alex, it just won't be the same without you.
His loss will be deeply mourned by his sister Helen who resides in England, along with his two nephews Joshua and Cody, their wives and his great nieces and nephew. He also leaves behind cousins and many church friends who will mourn his loss ( especially Judy ).
Alex, may you serve the Altar of God along with his heavenly angels onto LIFE ETERNAL!

The funeral service will be held on Thursday June 25th 2020 at 10h at St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church at 80 rue Castelneau Est, Montreal, Quebec, H2R1P2. Thence to Cimetière de Laval at 5505 Rang du Bas Saint-Francois, Laval, Quebec, H7E4P2. Church service will be live streamed at
